COR is the Latin word for heart and the base for the word core (kor) n 1. The central or innermost part of a thing; the heart or essence.
Most doctors want to remain in private practice with absolute autonomy and high income. They must, however, in some fashion deal with the following realities:
1. Reimbursement rates continue to be cut, adversely affecting physician income.
2. Overhead continues to increase because of general economic trends and because the administrative aspects of their practice (contracting, billing, etc.) steadily become more complex.
3. Autonomy is limited because of managed care restrictions and because many physicians are now part of larger organizations seeking to minimize the impact of items #1 and #2.
COR Management Services, Inc. ("COR") is a successor to a corporation founded in 1994, by the physicians of COR Specialty Associates of North Texas, P.A. ("CSANT") to better support their own practice. Since then, COR has also been providing management and consulting services to other North Texas physicians. COR's business is to provide high quality management services that physicians need at the lowest possible cost.
COR's eighty staff members have a proven track record. Our highly experienced management team provides conservative, prudent management and consulting services. We help increase revenues, reduce costs, preserve or enhance physician income and manage risk.
COR provides services individually tailored to your practice.
